Watch This Video for a Look at Cataracts in Pets

Last updated 1 year ago

Keeping your pet healthy and safe will help it lead a long, happy life. Regular visits to your veterinarian will help to keep your four-legged friend in good health. Some pets can develop cataracts as they get older. Watch this informative video to find out how cataracts affects animals and what treatments are available.

Cataracts are a developmental change within the eye that clouds the lens and blurs vision. Though cataracts appear to be a film over the eye, the changes are internal. Cataracts will not necessarily blind your pet, but it can happen. The condition is more common in dogs than in cats.

For more information on cataracts and your pets, call The Vet House at (972) 690-8741. Our compassionate staff will take good care of your animals so that you both enjoy your time together.
